Strongest Link: Quick & Bold Quilt Pattern

Quilt Designed & Sewn by Bev Getschel
Strongest Link: Quick & Bold Quilt Pattern

Connections are formed by sewing blocks together. The easy blocks in Bev’s interesting throw quilt look complex and cool in her original arrangement. The blocks are sewn together in sections rather than traditional rows during fi nal construction. For the 2nd border, Bev cut the side strips on the lengthwise grain, and the top and bottom strips on the cross grain, to use the border print to best effect. She also joined the top and bottom strips before adding the side strips, so note the border lengths and adjust accordingly if you wish to do differently. If you prefer to cut your 2nd border strips all on the cross grain, you will need just 1⅜ yards of the border print.
