Dear newquilter730: Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. You are correct. The diagram of the yellow block's lower right quadrant should have been turned 180 degrees. Please also note that this would also apply to all yellow blocks in the Assembly Diagram on p. 28.

Is there a mistake in the diagram?

Gathering the fabric to make this pattern but I think there is an error in the diagram with the yellow squares on the bottom of p 27. Shouldn't the lower right corner be turned to match the pattern of the other blocks? It seems to be different in the picture of the quilt than it is in the Assembly diagram too. Can't wait to try it!
