Background ... Color #1
... 1B - Cut 8 rectangles 2" x 3 1/2"
... 1C - Cut 12 squares 2"
... 1D - Cut 4 squares 2 3/8"
... 1E - Cut 4 squares 2 3/8" .... sub cut once diagonally to make 8 half square triangles
... 1F - Cut 1 square 4 1/4" ... sub cut twice diagonally to make 4 quarter square triangles

Green ... Color #2
... 2C - Cut 16 squares 2"
... 2D - Cut 4 squares 2 3/8"
Red ... Color #3
... 3G - Cut 4 squares 3 7/8" ... sub cut once diagonally to make 8 half square triangles
Print ... Color #4
... ... 4A - Cut 1 square 3 1/2"


ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Pieced Square: On wrong side of lightest fabric, draw diagonal line with the marking tool of your choice. Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line; cut apart on marked line. Press open to make pieced squares

Pieced Square Assembly Diagram

Flying Geese Unit: Layer square and rectangle. Sew directly on top of drawn line.Cut away excess fabric 1/4" from seamline. Press seam allowance. Repeat for other end of rectangle.
