Cutting Instructions
Dark Blue Print
... Cut 6 squares 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
... Cut 8 rectangles 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"
White
... Cut 6 squares 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
... Cut 8 squares 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Lt. Blue Print
... Cut 4 squares 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
... Cut 1 square 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Assembly Instructions
Step 1. Pieced-square
On wrong side of white fabric, draw diagonal line with the marking tool of your choice. Layer 2 7/8" dark blue print square with 2 7/8" white square (on top). Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line; cut apart on marked line. Press open to make pieced squares. (Diagram I)

Step 2. Flying Geese Unit
Draw a diagonal line on wrong side of, 2 1/2" white squares. Using Diagram II as a guide, layer 2 1/2" white square and 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" dark blue print rectangle, right sides together. Sew directly on top of drawn line. Cut away excess fabric 1/4" from seamline. Press seam allowance toward white triangle. Repeat for other end of rectangle. Make 4 Flying Geese units.

Step 3. Assembling Block
Using Assembly Diagram as a layout guide, sew previously assembled units, light blue print 2 1/2" squares and 4 1/2" square together to make rows. Piece rows together to make the Crystals Block.
