I build costumes professionally for Theatre and Opera, but I love to relax by making quilt tops for our local chapter of Prayers and Squares. I like to take ideas and give them my own creative spin. I usually find a fabric that I like or a block I really want to make and go from there. I don't think I have ever bought a kit and done it exactly that way. I have also taught sewing and a variety of related theatre and fashion classes.
