Fabric Requirements:
Cream... fat quarter (18" x 1/2 WOF)
Red print ... 1/2 yard (hearts and inner border)
Blue floral print ... 1/3 yard (outer border and binding)
Backing ... 3/4 yard
Batting ... 25" x 25"

Cutting Instructions:
Cream
... *1 square 17" x 17"
Red print
... 8 hearts (Template Diagram - PDF format)
... *2 strips 1" x 17"
... *2 strips 1" x 18"

Blue floral print
... *2 strips 3" x 18"
... *2 strips 3" x 23"

*cut oversized

Assembly Instructions
Step 1. Referring to block assembly instructions, make 1 Ring of Hearts Block.

Step 2. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew red 1" x 17" strips to sides of Ring of Hearts Block; trim even with top and bottom. Sew remaining red 1" x 18" strips to top and bottom; trim even with sides.

Step 3. Sew blue floral print 3" x 18" strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Sew remaining blue floral print 3" x 23" strips to top and bottom; trim even with sides.

Quilting and Finishing
Step 4. Using quilting motifs of your choice, mark quilt top for quilting.

Step 5. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Quilt as desired.

Step 5. Bind quilt with blue floral print.

I made two blocks to add in my Christmas wall hanging. I fussy cut a snow landscape for the center. Thanks for this awesome pattern

Thank you so very much for sharing this beautiful template & assembly instructions. This is something I would love to do for my granddaughters' room. She loves the idea of learning to sew & am in hopes of using this as a project for us. Thank you again for making this available.

Ring of Hearts Block

I love this block as a part of a bridal quilt. It can be downsized as a block in a Baltimore Album quilt. It seems to fit the criteria.
