DRAFTING PRISM TEMPLATE
Draw 1 inch squares forming a 7–inch square grid or use 1" cross section (gridded) paper.
Using grid, draft Prism template as shown in diagram.Place paper template on fabric, aligning straight grain of fabric with side indicated in diagram. (A small piece of rolled masking tape placed on the wrong side of the template will prevent the paper from slipping while cutting out the piece.)
Place 1/4" line on rotary ruler directly on top of the broken line on the template drawing. Cut fabric using rotary cutter. Repeat for each side of the the Prism.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Pieced Square
On wrong side of lightest fabric 2 7/8″ square, draw diagonal line with marking tool of your choice. Place marked square on darker 2 7/8″ square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line: cut apart on marked line. Open and press open to make 2 pieced squares. Make 18.
