... cut 1 square 7 1/4" x 7 1/4"; cut diagonally twice to make 4 quarter-square triangles.
... cut 4 rectangles 2 5/8" x 5 1/8" use Diagram I-A as guide for cutting 4 "one-way" half-trapezoids. (Place right side of fabic up when cutting.)
... cut 1 square 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"; cut diagonally twice to make 4 quarter-square triangles.

White with navy dots
... cut 1 square 7 1/4" x 7 1/4"; cut diagonally twice to make 4 quarter-square triangles.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1. Using Diagram II as a placement guide, layout quadrant pieces and sew together. Make 4.

Step 2. Carefully turn quadrants to form Night & Day Block (see Diagram III). Sew quadrants together to make 2 rows. Sew rows together to make block.
