... Cut 4 squares 2" x 2"
... Cut 4 squares 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Background
... Cut 4 squares 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"; cut squares diagonally to make
8 half-square triangles
... Cut 8 rectangles 1 1/2" x 3 1/2"
... Cut 4 squares 1 7/8" x 1 7/8"; cut squares diagonally to make
8 half-square triangles
... Cut 4 rectangles 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Assembly Instructions
Step 1. Sew background 2 3/8˝ triangles to green print 2˝ square. Add redd pring 3 7/8˝ triangle to make pieced square (Diagram I-A). Make 4. Add 2 background 1 1/2˝ x 3 1/2˝ strips and green print 1 1/2˝ square to make corner unit (Diagram I-B). Make 4.

Step 2. Referring to Diagram II-A, sew 2 background 1 7/8˝ triangles to red print 3 1/4˝ triangle to make flying geese unit. Make 4. Stitch to background 2 1/2˝ x 3 1/2˝ rectangle to make pieced rectangles (Diagram II-B). Make 4.

Step 3. Using Assembly Diagram as a guide, sew units together to make rows. Sew rows together to make Grandma's Choice Block.
