ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Referring to Diagram I, "set-in" 3 burgundy Template A and 2 light blue quarter-square triangles. Sewing from "edge-to-edge," sew quarter-square triangle on each end of unit to make pieced-diamond. (NOTE: Pay close attention to layout of triangles when making pieced-diamond.)

Step 2. Using Diagram II as a guide, sew 8 pieced-diamonds together to make 8-pointed star. (NOTE: Pay close attention to layout of pieced-diamonds. "Swallows" (small diamonds) should rotate in a clockwise direction.)

Step 3. Set-in background 6 1/4" quarter-square triangles and 4" squares to complete Flying Swallows Block.
