ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Flying Geese Unit
Draw a diagonal line on wrong side of Piece 4E green print squares. Layer Piece 4E square and Piece 2A dark rust rectangle, right sides together. Sew directly on top of drawn line. Cut away excess fabric 1/4" from seamline. Press seam allowance. Repeat for other end of rectangle (Diagram I). Make 4.

Step 2. Sub-unit #1
Sew Piece 1C quarter-square cream triangle to Piece 3C quarter-square light rust triangle to make pieced triangle. Sew Piece 2D half-square dark rust triangle to pieced triangle (Diagram IIA). Make 4. Sew Flying Geese Unit to Pieced Square unit to make sub unit #1. Make 4.

Step 3. Four-patch Strip Units
Sew Piece 1B cream strip to Piece 5B rust print #1 strip. Press seam toward rust print. Subcut two-patch rectangles 2" x 3 1/2". Cut 4 two-patch rectangles total (Diagram IIIA). Using Diagram IIIB as a guide, sew 2 two-patch rectangles together to make a four-patch unit. Make 2. Repeat steps for Piece 6B rust print #2 strip and Piece 1B cream strip.

Step 4. Sub-unit #2
Using Diagram IV as a guide, place Piece 5E rust print #1 square, 2 Piece 1A cream rectangles and 1 four-patch unit as shown. Sew four-patch unit, rectangles, and square together to make sub-unit #2. Make 2 total. Repeat using 6E rust print #2 square and matching four-patch unit. Make 2 total.

Step 5. Four-patch Unit
Using Diagram V as a guide, sew Piece 5E rust print #1 squares and Piece 6E rust print #2 squares together. Make 1 four-patch unit.

Step 6. Block Assembly
Using Assembly Diagram as a guide, place sub-units as shown. Sew sub-units together to make rows, then rows together to make Arrowheads Block.
