What images come to mind when you remember your wonderful trip? Visualize the food, the people, the landscape, the architecture...whatever memories you hold dear. Think of the colors in your vision and use those to choose your block fabrics. The grays and creams of marble, the warm hues of tomatoes and past, even the gentle tones of faces can be an inspiration for your color choices. Our instructors and diagrams refer only to contrast. This contrast can be one of value (light vs. dark) or of color. Fell free to use as many fabrics as you wish. The only patches that have to match are the ones you want to match.

Please don't embellish your block in any way. We're really excited to see your chosen palette as the blocks arrive. Let your memories and imagination inspire the colors or your block!
