Just gorgeous!! It looks like an heirloom quilt right out of Grandma's cedar chest. I love the old fashioned use of muslin and the flowery calicos that were used so much back in the day. I think I'm going to hunker down and try this one!!! Especially since I'm a hand quilter, this is THE quilt for hand work.

I love the color used in this design & the miniature squares that dot the quilt as well as boarder it. Pecos was the right choice to bind it.

I made this design twice about two years ago when it was published in the magazine, once with a pale yellow and the other with pink background for two great granddaughters. I used "30s fabrics and both turned out great. The Prairie Points added the finishing touch. Easy and fun.
