Fabrics for Stash Dash
Hi MobitzRN! Our goal in each issue is to provide a balance of quilts that are “scrappy” and those that are from a current fabric line. In this case, the designers worked with 40s feed sack reproduction fabrics from their stash. There are always lots of these prints to be found at quilt shops and fabric stores, and we felt this design would give our readers a really cute way to use prints from their own stash. When we have information on which particular fabric collections are used in a quilt, we pass it on to you, but when the designers describe the fabric selection as from their stash, there’s just no way to account for every choice they make. We would not want to deny our readers such a cute creative design just because the designers used a wide selection of fabric. Thanks - Kathy

I don't understand why designers are allowed to have their quilts displayed in magazines without giving the fabric name. This is a huge pain if you want to reproduce the quilt as shown. Sometimes you want to use your own ideas where color ways and fabrics are concerned, but other times, like for this adorable quilt, the fabric selection they used is fabulous!!!!
