How long I've been quilting... I have been quilting for 5 1/2 years.

I began quilting... My first who quilt was a t shirt quilt i made for my daughter when she graduated from high school.

My quilting style is... I like to do for Art Quilts. My art quilts allow me to be free and open with designing and trying new techniques and embellishments.

Other quilt design contests I've entered...  I have participated in Robert Kauffman fabric challenge in 2009, and also I have participated in American Allience for Quilters in 2010, 2011 and 2012 .

People who inspired me... My creativity and strength comes from two special young men, Andrew and Kyle.

I draw my inspiration from... My imagination is sparked by memories. Most of my quilts are very personal , I pull from the memories of special people and places , I incorporate these memories and hope to expess this in the design of the quilt.

My Favorite techniques... Most of my art quilts are raw edge applique, thread painting, free motion quilting and added embellishments.

Colors or fabrics I'm attracted to... My favorite color is green.

My fabric stash...  My stash is divided by the use of the material, such as landscape material, batiks, collections, and lastly color.

My quilting community... I belong to 2 quilt guilds: Countyline Quilters, Chalfont, PA and Modern Quilt Guild of New Jersey.

I entered Quilt Design Star™ 2012 because... I enjoy doing challenge quilts. It pushes me to do things that I might otherwise not do.
