Peace Cottage
Oops, my mistake. I forgot to sew the strip across the top of the block. I apologize for thinking the pattern might be in error. It really is a beautiful quilt.
Block Size of Cottage
I am working on the Peace Cottage quilt and the magazine states that the finished size of the cottage is 17 x 17. I finished the block and my size is 17.5 x 15 (unfinished). I don't think I could be 2.5 inches off the length of the block when the width is perfect. Could there possibly be an error in the printed finished size of the block? If not, I'll make another block, but mine looks just like the one in the magazine. Thanks in advance for your response.
