Cutting Instructions
Green solid
12 rectangles 3” x 3 1/2” (replaces 12 squares 3” x 3”)
Step 4 Update
Sew together 7 assorted 3” squares and 6 green 3” x 3 1/2” rectangles, alternating. Stitch green 6” strips to ends to complete narrow row. Make 2 total.

RE: another error in cutting instructions?
Blivak, the Diagrams I and II instructions are actually correct. There are two seams in Diagram I compared to 1 seam in Diagram II which accounts for the seeming discrepancy.
another error in cutting instructions?
If my math is right, the Diagram I instructions result in a strip set that is 11 3/4 long (4 5/8 twice plus 2 1/2) and the piece it gets sewed to, Diagram II (8 3/4 plus 2 1/2), is 11 1/4 in long.

Cutting instructions error
directions say to cut 12 squares 3"x3" out of main fabric. This is wrong! It should be 12 squares 3" x 3 1/2". The blocks line up with the 3 1/2" colored strips.
