Mary Kay Davis talks about her Challenge 3 quilt...
|
My original quilt inspired me by... My original quilt inspired the use of the graduated triangles and the checkerboard pattern. I wanted to use bright colors and as with the first quilt, I tried very hard to use fabrics already in my stash |

I experienced the following challenges with this quilt... It was a real challenge to decide on the layout of the quilt and the fabrics to use. The colors choices are based on a focus fabric that never ended up in the quilt. I also knew I wanted to use the checkerboard, but didn't want to repeat the border from the first quilt. And I have to admit it was tough coming up with a name. |
