Tricia Lynn Maloney is the author of the new book, Orphan Block Quilts: Making a Home for Antique, Vintage, Collectible and Leftover Quilt Blocks (Krause Publications, 2010) and has been quilting for 14 years. Her life as a ­­quilt­er changed dramatically when she found a large collection of antique and vintage quilt blocks and tops in 2006 and she began to create new quilts using old blocks.
