RE: Batting used
Chiefcook, please email Deb at and she may be able to contact Vicki with your question.
Batting used
Is it possible to find out what Vicky used for batting. 80/20 was too thick for me. Thank You
Gold metallic thread
Thank you for the help with the thread used with the Cretan Stitch. I will give it a try.
Embroidery Thread Used
Vicky actually used a metallic gold thread for this technique. Hope you give it a try!
emboidery thread used?
The photo looks like a perle cotton was used for Cretan stitch. That seems a little thick when it comes to burying knot in batting. Please help.
RE: Pattern Accuracy
Please revise the second measurement at the top of the cutting chart on page 80 to 3 1/4" x 10". All else is correct, including the measurements noted on the Assembly Diagram. Thanks!
sorry again--the 9 1/4" is correct
sorry--after making a block the 9 1/4" strip is correct--the mistake in this is the initial strips that should be cut to 3 3/4"
I stand corrected
the 9 1/4" strips should be cut to 9 1/2" instead, not 9 3/4" as I stated initially
several errors in the cutting measurements!
how frustrating---I just spent 1/2 of a day cutting out all these little pieces and there are several mistakes in the pattern. The 9 1/4" strips should be 9 3/4"; also, the strips should be cut to 3 3/4" wide for the 3 3/4" rectangles--this is unbelievably bad editing
Error in the patteren
There is an error in the strip cutting measurements.
