Bride's Bouquet

Any bride could appreciate a dainty version of this popular Depression era pattern. Jalinda Marlar found her Nosegay quilt during an unplanned stop at a garage sale in Denver, CO.

Fabric Requirements
Assorted solids (blocks) 5/8 yd. total
White solid (blocks, background, binding) 5 1/2 yds.
Assorted prints (blocks) 1 3/4 yds. total
Dark green solid (blocks) 3/4 yd.
Backing (piece lengthwise) 5 1/4 yds.
Batting Double size

Sewing thread
Quilting thread (hand quilting)

Planning a Reproduction
Any bride would be thrilled to see these floral bouquets arrive on her doorstep. The scrappy flowers are every color of the rainbow. Nosegay blocks make a perfect carry-along project for hand piecers.
