Laura and Rita used paper-backed fusible web for their appliqué and we instruct you to do likewise. Feel free to use your favorite method of appliqué. Piecing and Appliquéing the Blocks
1. Referring to Diagram I-A, sew cream texture and rose texture 1 3/4" x WOF strips together; press in direction of arrow. Cut 96 segments 1 3/4" wide. Sew 2 segments together (see Diagram I-B) to make 4-patch square. Make 48.
