McCall's Quilt Design Star™ 2012
Challenge 1 Amateur Category Finalists
McCall's Quilting would like to recognize and congratulate Lisette Léveillé as the winner of Challenge 1/Amateur Category with her quilt design titled Dreaming in Teknicolors!


The Amateur Category Challenge 1 finalists were given the following criteria for their Challenge 1 quilt tops:
◊ Must incorporate the Amish Star block from our online quilt block reference.
◊ May incorporate the specified block in any size, or multiple sizes (e.g. in a 6˝ finished and a 12˝ finished).
◊ May incorporate the specified block in any quantity (e.g. appears one or multiple times in quilt design).
◊ May adjust proportions of specified block as long as block remains recognizable.
◊ Must be at least 24˝ square; there is no maximum size.
◊ Must have been started no earlier than May 22, 2012.
◊ May be pieced, appliqued, or use mixed techniques.
◊ Should NOT be quilted.
◊ Should convey who you are as a designer.
