McCall's Quilt Design Star™ 2011 - Finalists - Challenge 1


We gave each of the Challenge 1 finalists the following criteria for their Challenge 1 quilt tops: * Use both of these 2 blocks from McCallsQuilting.com, Arrowheads and Shoo-fly * The blocks may be used in any size, or multiple sizes, or with altered perspectives or proportions, or with subdivided and/or combined patches) * Must be at least 24" square * May have been completely pieced or have appliqué added, or be of mixed techniques * Must convey who the finalist is as a designer

About the Contest
First, we invite you to enter an original quilt design.		McCall's Quilting would like to thank the sponsors of Quilt Design Star™.
Second, the public votes and helps us choose the finalists. Then, the finalists create their first-round quilt top (based on challenge criteria provided by McCall's Quilting).
And the public votes on the finalists' first-round challenge entries. Based on the public vote, some finalists are eliminated. Repeat for challenge rounds 2 and 3, until the winner is chosen!
