Urban Neighborhood FREE Bed Quilt Pattern Friday Freebie: Urban Neighborhood Bed Quilt PatternOur free pattern download is for the same quilt, but substitutes warm autumn colors of burgundy, tan and gold surrounding assorted pink, lime, green, teal, yellow and blue solid block centers. This modern looking quilt can easily be adapted to your own fabric choices. You might choose to use a charm pack from a single fabric collection for the block centers, adding coordinating solids for the subsequent block patches, strips, sashing and borders.

You’ll want to be sure you’re sewing with an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance so the patches and blocks fit together well – watch our free video lesson for a refresher before you begin.

    When I see that pattern, my mind goes to Oriental fabrics with a black sashing.
