I am always intrigued to try new techniques and ideas in quilting, and also love to collect patterns for small sewing projects. This cute woven tote pattern by Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts falls into both categories, which is why it caught my eye for today’s Friday Freebie.
This quilted tote bag pattern is a great way to either break into a new jelly roll, or use-up leftover jelly roll strips, as you’ll only need 9 strips (plus backing and lining fabrics). Instructions are also provided for cutting your strips from yardage.

Enjoy!

Thank you! This looks like a good ‘spring’ bag, love the colors.
