I have to make a little confession here…I have baby quilts on the brain lately because I became a grandmother for the first time just 8 weeks ago.
This quilt caught my eye for two reasons:
- It’s scrappy – goodness knows I’ve got LOTS of scraps!
- It incorporates a fun little game.
Kids will love snuggling up in this quilt, and enjoy looking for the matching squares. You might even trade fabric with friends to get a good variety. I’ll be looking for lots of bold, high-contrast black and white prints and brights. I might incorporate a few textures, too, like minky, corduroy, and satin.
