Part of the fun of putting this magazine together was learning about so many quilting groups around the nation and how they enjoy sharing projects and fun times.
The Quad Quilters of Aguanga, California, are Laura Anderson and her 3 friends Carol, Susan, and Sue. These 4 talented ladies meet every other Sunday at Laura’s house to quilt, sew, and snack! Together they work on their unfinished quilting projects and create new quilts for charitable organizations.
Judy Bailey and her cousin MaryAnn spent the majority of their childhood together, but drifted apart when MaryAnn moved to Michigan from their hometown in Ohio. Recently, MaryAnn returned to Canton and she and Judy began a new quilting friendship. The two cousins work together to finish quilts they have inherited from generations past. Judy says, “She is my friend, my cousin, my quilting partner. What a joy to bind together and begin to see the finished pattern of our life quilt.”
Are you in a quilting group? Do you have a quilting buddy? You only need one other person to form a satisfying and fun quilting team!

I’m new to quilting, and figured in this small of a town, that they’re weren’t any groups, but I was wrong! I found out last week that there are THREE guilds here… who knew?!?
Looks like you landed in a good spot, Lauren!
