Regarding McCalls Quilting – September/October 2012, Decoupage design by Janelle Cedusky – Could you please advise material used in actual design – this was not mentioned in the pattern. I have searched the web unsuccessfully to find this or a similar fabric. Your assistance would be much appreciated. Regards, Wendy Dyhr, Australia.
Hi Wendy, We, too, loved the fabric that Janelle chose from her stash to make the Decoupage quilt featured in McCall’s Quilting September/October 2012 issue…unfortunately, it is no longer available. In the magazine, our editors chose a large butterfly print to demonstrate the technique, and there are many large print possibilities available at local quilt shops and online.
Are lap size directions available?
Directions for the lap size quilt are in the February/March 2011 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts. You can purchase back issues here: http://www.quiltandsewshop.com/product/Quick-Quilts-February-March-2011/quick-quilts
