There are a lot of great quilts in the 1st round, can’t wait to see whats next, and who all goes on. I feel they are all winners.
I would like to say thank you for this oppurtinity to challenge myself to design …outside the box., in new and different ways. I had come up with 2 other possiblities for challenge 1 and I want to work them up as well later on in the fall, just to see what they would be like in fabric.

I really loved your quilt. It was a very clever use of color and piecing, AND (most importantly) very pleasing to look at…doesn’t always come in the same package!
I have had so much fun being in this contest–and can’t wait to see what happens next!! I am working on an easy customer quilt today–in case I get too distracted waiting for the results!!
