With the kids home on summer breaks and vacations often in full swing, I know many of us find it challenging to squeeze in a little quilting at this time of year. I scoured our site for a “just right” quick pattern for you to enjoy making for the 4th of July.
Now, you’ll have to use your imagination a bit…but that’s part of the fun! You might notice that the image above has more of a Christmas feel to it, but I’m envisioning this table runner made up in any assortment of red white and blue fabrics.

Time’s a wastin’ – head for your stash or LQS, quick! Stitch this up over the weekend for your 4th of July get-together…there’s nothing like a deadline to motivate!

Love this pattern – thanks for sharing. I know I have the magazine issue it was published in and often go back to them for renewed inspiration. Big fan of antique quilts and patterns; and redoing with 21st century eyes.
This is just lovely. Thanks for sharing. Was looking for a project to do with the grandkids.
