As Challenge 1 of McCall’s Quilt Design Star™ 2012 draws to a close, our finalists are completing their quilt tops and preparing for the next voting cycle. Before you vote, be sure to check out these sites for more information on the designers:
This year our Amateur category has produced some phenomenal entry-round quilts! Check them out to see some of the designers’ previous work. For more information on the quilters themselves, take a look at the Amateur Category Bio Page. Each Challenge 1 finalist used the Amish Star Block as inspiration for their quilt top – make sure to see their final product tomorrow when voting begins.
The Professi
onal category holds some great competition as well – take a look at their entry-round quilts and you’ll see what we mean! View the Professional Category Bio Page to learn more about each quilter. Their Challenge 1 quilt tops, which you can view tomorrow, are each inspired by the Storm at Sea Block.
We can’t wait for you to see what these talented designers have come up with for their Challenge 1 quilt tops!
Voting for Challenge 1 quilts will begin just after midnight MST tonight!
(That’s 12:01 A.M. MST, June 19)
Visit the Professional and Amateur category voting pages to choose your favorites. One vote each day will be counted – choose 1 Amateur and 1 Professional.
