McCall’s Quilting Intern’s First Quilt: Part 6

I spent over 8 hours quilting last Friday, but it was worth it to see this result!

After sewing those pieces to each side, I started preparing my binding fabric so it’s ready as soon as I’m finished quilting.

I hit a snag here when I ran out of bobbin thread without knowing it just before I started sewing my pieces together. This resulted in a very huffy quilter for awhile.

After sewing my blocks, borders, and sashing together, here it is – my finished quilt top!
