The May/June 2012 issue of McCall’s Quilting is just arriving in subscriber mailboxes and on newsstands, and we’re so proud to show it off! The 14 fresh, original quilt patterns inside include a fast, adorable baby quilt,
an update to the challenging Pine Burr design,
a quilt that’s also a wedding guest book,
and the last part of our easy Mystery Quilt with photos of 6 completed McCall’s staff quilts. The spectacular cover Lone Star quilt even has a free online video that walks you through the strip-piecing process step by step.
We show you how to master the basics of machine template piecing in a cool, contemporary lap quilt, and how to trim sashed diamonds in a fun quilt for that special girl.

Love the third quilt. I’m a sucker for black and white prints!
Love “Aunt Millie’s Legacy” quilt pattern. The fabric by Moda, the Athill Range Collection, does not seem to be available. You did not offer it with the pattern. Where can I find this fabric collection?
I did a search for the fabric name and I found quite a few on-line shops that list it. Some of them the fabrics in stock in multiple colorways. I think that could help you out. If you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact me at mcq@creativecraftsgroup.com
This is my favorite issue. The triangle toss confused me until I read the directions.
I saw many quilts I want to make.
Always look forward to receiving my copy of your magazine and this preview is great. Have a couple of baby quilts to make and like the look of the one you have featured here. Can’t wait to get the newest issue to view the instructions for the baby quilt!
