Block 5 reminds me of the Ring of Kerry. Enjoyed Ireland and love the quilt.
I would like to start the Ireland quilt block of the month. We are going to Ireland in August and it would be fun to make a quilt. Do I need to sign up? I have seen the blocks but no instructions. Thanks, Betty
Hi Betty,
No sign-up needed! To find the block instructions, click on Blocks and Patterns, or click on the links in my blog of March 5. The links are right there at the beginning of the blog. I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have anymore problems finding the instructions.
Thanks,
Laura
Love your quilt…how can I sign up to get your blog entries each month?
Marilyn
Hi Marilyn, You can sign up by clicking the orange RSS feed button in the top right section of this page, or simply bookmark our Editors’ Blog page in your browser. Thanks!
Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for sharing these great patterns and your work with us. I’ve just now printed the patterns and plan to begin this quilt soon. I signed up for the trip last July and can’t wait to meet you and enjoy this wonderful trip! I’m so excited. I just had a thought that maybe McCalls could put a link on the website or facebook for those going on the tour together to say hello and maybe get to know each other a little before we meet at the airport in New York. Just thinking it would be fun.
Hi Gale, Love your idea of a place for fellow travelers going on the McCall’s Quilting trip to Ireland to say hello and get to know each other prior to the trip! Please head on over to our group on Quilters Club of America, and post a comment under on the Blog or Discussion section. Thanks! -Valerie
