It’s that time of year again; time for the International Quilt Market in Houston, Texas. And much to my delight, I will be accompanying Editor-in-chief Beth Hayes and Assistant Editor Laura Roberts this time!
I’ve wanted to attend this renowned annual event for many years, and I am so excited to share my experience at Market with you. So what’s it all about? Well, let me tell you…
International Quilt Market is where everyone in the quilting world convenes at the giant Convention Center in Houston. New products and fabric lines are introduced by manufacturers. Well-known quilt designers wow us with their new designs, and aspiring new designers embark on the opportunity to showcase their fresh ideas. Quilt shop owners from all around the world discover new fabrics, patterns, products, and ideas to bring back to their shops.
No doubt, you’ll be seeing some of the best quilt designs, fabrics, and innovative products from Quilt Market on McCall’s pages in upcoming issues!
Market is followed shortly by the International Quilt Festival, which is open to the public.

I will be there too! It is AWESOME! So much to see, admire and buy!!! Have fun!
Wish you were going to be there for the festival too, it would have been great to meet you! Have a wonderful time!
