Design Star FINAL Quilt Design Star™ 2011   Challenge 3 Voting Begins It’s time – voting has officially begun for the final challenge in our 2011 McCall’s Quilt Design Star™ contest! Click the star above to take a look at all of the amazing quilts the 12 finalists designed, then vote for your favorite. You may vote up to once per day through November 8, so be sure to bookmark the voting page. Click here to learn more about each of the 12 finalists, and see pictures of their other quilt designs, including their entry quilts, Challenge 1 and Challenge 2 quilts.

For this final challenge, the contestants were asked to design a quilt inspired by the lyrics to any well-recognized song. Here are the songs that inspired the final entries: Blue Suede Shoes, Bein’ Green, Mi Amore, Firework, How Much is That Doggie in the Window, Music of the Night, The Wind Beneath My Wings, Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire, Going to the Chapel, Fly Me to the Moon, That’s Amore, Mama.     i would love a machine like that.. i never win anything

  4. I had the most difficult time choosing which one to vote for! I had it narrowed down to three, but finally had to decide. This was the hardest challenge to vote on by far!
