In an effort to improve our Blog, we’ve added “Categories” on the left side of the screen (see picture below). By clicking on a category, you can narrow down the entries to review. It also gives you an idea of the types of entries we’ve had. Now that we have this improvement in place, we can start blogging again. Watch here for new blog entries!

just received quilting DVD collection and very excited about receiving more. Returned my payment for the subscription immediately. Have a question for Beth Hayes regarding the traveling kit that she had on the DVD. Would like to know where to purchase. Thank you.
Beth bought the case for her paper-piecing travel kit at The Container Store! I thought it was a great idea, too, so I used a compartmentalized container I got at JoAnn Fabrics to organize a version for myself. We’re working on a McCall’s version, but check out the plastic storage at your local stores if you need one now. It’s a super idea!
I’m looking for a pattern for the “T” block quilt shown on an early cover of Quick Quilts. The “T’s” are head to head and foot to foot in dark and light fabrics. It’s not the traditional Capital T block. I just have a small picture of it and can’t figure out how it’s done.
Help would be greatly appreciated—–want to make it for my grandson and his wife—-Tim & Trish—-for obvious reasons!
Doreen, I think you’re referring to the cover quilt from the November 2005 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilts. It’s very cool! Unfortunately, copies of that magazine are no longer available. I love your DVD collection, I get so excited when I see that I’ve received another in the mail.
I have a thought about something I would like you to think about. Necessay mending of finished used quilts and the type of care that a quilt should have for longevity.
