The last block!! Today is the Rising Star.
Rising Star
Again, Sarah chose the fabrics for this block. She started with the large print for the middle (which she claimed she just had to have). Then we chose a medium red to compliment for the small star and a dark blue with both red and green for the large star. She was very happy when we found the cream with the little rosebuds that looked like they were falling for the background!
This is the last large block for the quilt – I can’t believe it! I have just a few filler blocks to complete. On Monday, I’ll do an entry with the filler blocks, then on Tuesday, I’ll show you the quilt top (either on the design wall or sewn).
