Well, here it is. The first look at my design wall. I’m thinking it might be a little anticlimactic!
Design Wall – Day 12
I’m still missing the economy blocks above Farmer’s Fields as well as Flying Geese on the right side of the 1st row and the left side of the 2nd row. I’m pleased with how things are flowing together. Especially since this is my first attempt at this type of thing. I think I am using light, medium, and dark values pretty well, although I constantly have to remind myself not to always use the dark values. I’m enjoying doing the different blocks that each have meaning and I think Sarah will enjoy having a quilt that has that type of meaning.
For Monday, the block is the Tree of Life. See you then!

I think your doing a wonderful job on this. I too am doing something different then what I’m use to & am finding its teaching
me blocks I didn’t know how to do. Its diffenitly trial & error, but I’m bound & determined to finish it.
I’m sure your daughter will love it
