Past Mystery Block Quilt patterns
Hi. I just received a subscription to McCall's Quilting as a gift. I would love to make the Mystery Quilt but it seems that in order to that, I have to purchase all 4 past issues. In reading other comments below, it is apparent that others would like the past issues. Why wouldn't you post the Mystery Quilt patterns for sell individually on your website? I don't necessarily want to buy all 4 past issues, just the MB pattern. From a crow sitting on a fence, it would make better business sense to sell just the individual patterns- you have buyers asking for them! I would purchase them in a heart beat- you have the means to do that. I look forward to your reply. Thanks kelli
June/August Issues
Unfortunately, we don't have the instructions on the site, but they are fully patterned in the McCall's Quilting issue. To purchase a copy of this issue, you may click on "Shop" at the top of this page, select “Magazine Issues” on the left side of the page under the header “McCall’s Quilting” and select the issue that you wish to purchase. - Kathy
Need Patterns from June and August Issues
I have misplaced the "saved" issues to make this quilt, and now can't find them. HELP! Can I find the instructions on this site somewhere? Thank you. kg1
Re: Quilt Size
Dear readers: Unfortunately, this Mystery quilt comes in one size only, due to the variety of sizes of the blocks which fit into the design like a puzzle. If you would still like to attempt a different size, I would suggest that you make all blocks then lay out in an open space before sewing your blocks together to achieve a size that is close to what you desire. Left-over blocks could be used in a throw as a lovely gift for yourself! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at: mcq@creativecraftsgroup.com, so that we can respond to you directly. Thanks so much!
Quilt downsizing
I would like to make a long twin for my grandson's dorm room. The length of this quilt is fine, but need to make approx 24 inches narrower. Or is there another size it can be close to these measurements and still use the mystery quilt?
Sizing of this quilt
I don't need a king size - would like to make this twin size. How can this be accomplished with mystery quilt??
I located May/June Magazine
I was told by subscriptions to call their vender who has back issues. His number is 800.829.3340. He has issued (not necessarily all issues) back to 1995. They caost $6. plus shipping of around $10. So if you want more than one issue, you can save on shipping by ordering multiple copies at the same time.
HOW DO YOU ORDER???
Hey everyone....I'm trying to order the May/June copy of McCall's Quilting, so that I'd have the first set of instructions for the mystery quilt and I just can't figure out how to do it?? Any one know how or where I can get the instructions for the squares??? Thanks! Serena

I am also getting 6x8.5 unfinished, I have tried with needle position, two different sewing machines and two different 1/4" foot on the machines, is this because I am using batiks. I have no idea where I am losing 1/2".
