American quilters have always shown their patriotic colors during wartime, as this World War II era quilt beautifully demonstrates. The original quilt was made in Arkansas in 1942 as a raffle quilt by the members of the Pleasant View Home Demonstration Club; you can make your own version with our free instructions below.

tile pattern
I saw a picture of a quilt made with greys and blacks plus a faint other color made to look like an old Venetian tile diamond patterned floor. It was just a small picture, and it was just one page..... Does anyone remember where it was??
