From January 17 - 29, 2009, a very lucky group of quilters and their companions toured New Zealand accompanied by author, teacher, and award-winning quilter Carol Doak, and McCall's Quilting editor-in-chief Beth Hayes.

31 of these quilters made their own blocks based our Kiwi Keepsake pattern. The article displays their blocks and documents their inspiration. An amazing history of a once-in-a-lifetime trip!
