Wish Wish Wish
Oh how I wish I was able to enjoy this with everyone who will go. There are so many things this trip would do for anyone who would like to learn about their heritage & learn with others who are also interested in quilting! Oh what a feeling that would be!
I've always wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland. I am new to quilting and this would be a wonderful learning experience for that and as part of my heritage that I've never known.
There is no pocket in a shroud.
Norma, life can turn on a dime and no day is promised. Go to Ireland, 15 years is too long to be away from "The Old Sod"
Quilting Greatness
Long ago I found that great quilting is in the eye of the beholder. I have a lovely quilt made by my husband's Grand mother. You may find technical errors in it I just find great beauty. I often find that the People's choice quilts are not the technical best but ones where you can see the love in them.
I would love to enjoy this.
Ireland the land of many gorgeous sites sounds, I was there 15 years ago and toured much of Ireland from parts of the north to the south and loved it but have never been able to return maybe this time this would be a great opportunity but because I live in Ontario and many miles from NYC. it almost seems impossible. Who knows I am alone now my husband passed away Jan.1st.this year so alot depends on many things I am a sewer and quilter but not to the standards that I would show any thing it is mainly for my family when I am gone. Sure envy all you gals who are going. maybe! Norma
