Laura Stone Roberts

Lover of winter and novice snowshoer, Laura Stone Roberts, our Assistant Editor, recently moved into the mountains where she and her cats can watch the snow falling on the evergreens. Laura loves rich, radiant colors (some might call them bright) and is a skilled embroiderer; she especially enjoys embellishing quilts in beautiful, random ways. She was thrilled to be invited to exhibit at Madeira Thread’s Millennium Show in Harrogate, England in 2000. A native of Northern California, she’s a rabid football (and Pfaff) fan, and collects wildly different threads and fabrics, a pastime begun when living overseas.
